VoltMerric Privacy Policy

Overview

VoltMerric stores the vehicles, energy records and expenses you enter on this device to calculate interval energy cost, range achievement and ownership costs. This version has no automatic cloud sync. We do not operate a server that collects these records.

Data We Do Not Collect

VoltMerric does not collect personal information. Specifically:

• No account or login is required.
• No name, email, phone number or location is collected.
• No tracking or device fingerprinting of any kind.
• No third-party analytics or telemetry SDKs.
• No advertising and no ad identifiers.

Data Stored On Your Device

The app stores only the data you enter, locally via Apple's SwiftData:

• Vehicles: names you choose, powertrain type (EV / fuel) and battery chemistry or fuel grade.
• Charging records: odometer, amount paid, charge level, date and derived cost metrics.

You may delete records or vehicles; deleting a vehicle removes its records. Removing the app may delete local data. Save a restorable JSON backup first.

Manual backups and device transfer

Create a JSON backup in Settings generates a file containing your vehicles, energy records and expenses. You choose where to save it.

• Save a JSON backup before removing the app or changing devices.
• Import the JSON backup in Settings on another device, review it and merge records. Existing IDs are not imported twice.
• Exported files contain your records. Choose a trusted save or share destination; that service handles the file under its own privacy policy.

Network Access

Vehicle records work offline and are never automatically uploaded or synced. A system service or website handles an action only when you choose to share a file or open a support link.

Third-Party Services

VoltMerric integrates no third-party SDKs, analytics, crash reporters or advertising networks.

Privacy Manifest

In line with Apple's requirements, VoltMerric declares that it does not track users and does not collect data for tracking purposes.

Data Security

Local data is protected by iOS device security. JSON and CSV exports are readable files without additional encryption; keep them in a location you trust.

Children's Privacy

VoltMerric does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children, because it collects no personal data at all.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
